Teams in the Championship, B and C Flights have earned spots in the finals to be held at the Philadelphia NABC this summer.

The deadline to register for the 2025 Flight A District 6 GNT is May 8, 2025.
There is no club level qualification requirement this year, and the masterpoint limit is 0-6000 mps as of the August 6, 2024 masterpoint cycle (printed on your September bulletin).
The event will be held over two weekends.
First (qualifying) weekend: May 17 and 18, The Promenade, 5225 Pooks Hill Rd, Bethesda MD
Second (finals) weekend: June 7 and 8, MBA Sectional at Immanuel UCC, 1905 Edmondson Ave, Catonsville MD

Details for this year are still being finalized, so check back here later. For your planning purposes, note that District Six will not require club qualification this year in any flight and new this year to the Grand National Teams – there are MAJOR CHANGES TO FLIGHT LIMITS.

Open Championship Flight Unlimited

Flight eligibility will be established by ACBL’s September masterpoint cycle. This information was produced on August 6, 2024 in Horn Lake, MS. Masterpoints won after this cycle will not impact flight eligibility for these events.
The first qualifying weekend for the Open Championship Flight will be held February 1-2, 2025 at the Silver Spring Civic Building. The Open Championship Final will conclude February 22-23, 2025 at the NVBA Sectional.
Flight B and C will be contested February 1-2, 2025, possibly including a satellite site and with any final rounds also at the NVBA Sectional February 22-23.
In Flight B the first weekend will be February 1-2, 2025 at the Silver Spring Civic Building. The final will conclude February 22-23, 2025 at the NVBA Sectional.
Flight C will be a one day event played at one of two satellite sites (team choice): Saturday, Feb 1, 2025 in Richmond OR Sunday, Feb 2, 2025 in Silver Spring. Provided we have sufficient entries, the winner at each site will be qualified for the 2025 Summer NABC final in Philadelphia.
The first weekend will be May 17-18 for flight A in North Bethesda and the second weekend will be in June at the MBA sectional in Catonsville on June 7-8.

Congratulations to Alan Munro and Colin Schloss who won the Flight B North American Pairs (NAP) event at the 2024 Louisville, KY NABC. Another District 6 Pair, Ernie Schuler and Tom Peters, also did well in the event, finishing in the top 10 (5th).
